Sr Analyst, HR Applications

A Typical Day

The Senior Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS) Analyst will provide functional and technical support for the Human Resource systems and business partners.  The Senior HRMS Analyst will work with the human resources and payroll teams on key strategic projects and day to day support activities for the appropriate applications.  The Senior HRMS Analyst will evaluate and design solutions to improve processes for Human Resource, Payroll, Benefits and Time Management systems.  Additionally, the Senior Analyst is responsible for focusing on delivering projects in partnership with key stakeholders on time and on budget.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide primary end user support for Workforce, ADP and SuccessFactors to include Employee Central, Learning Management System, Onboarding, Recruiting, Goals, Compensation, etc.. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of end user problems as well as performing routine system maintenance checks and corrective actions.
  • Solution design, development, technical documentation, project life cycle and software production support.
  • Build test cases and execute against those test cases for the testing life cycle including:  Unit, Integration, and Regression Tests.
  • Prepare detailed technical specifications for development activities using appropriate programming languages.  Development activities include: enhancements, interfaces, workflows, forms, and reports.
  • Ensures that all applications deliver a consistent high level of quality, minimizing program bugs and inefficiencies.
  • Coordinates efforts across all Information Services and Business teams and ensures appropriate communication of project-related work to these teams.
  • Build internal knowledge database to improve service to our internal customers.

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Human Resource Management or related field plus 5 years’ related experience OR Master’s degree plus 1 year related experience.
  • At least 3 years’ of experience with Cloud applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary team.
  • Strong trouble-shooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills and the ability to translate higher level knowledge to others.
  • Ability to understand complex business processes, rules, and demonstrate business acumen, and is subject matter expert.  
  • Project management at a basic level, including coordinating and managing project tasks.
  • Ability to partner with key stakeholders on process design sessions.


What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Human Resources Management or related field plus 7 years’ related experience OR Master's degree plus 2 years’ related experience.
  • Experience in Human Resource, Payroll, Benefits and Time Management systems.
  • Experience with SuccessFactors, Workforce Software, Benefit Focus and ADP
  • Experience with report tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Middleware tool experience, specifically Boomi

Physical Demands & Work Environment
