Sales Operations Support Representative

A Typical Day

The Sales Operations Support Representative assures timely and accurate delivery of sales operations functions.  Acts as liaison across the Commercial group and supports internal operational needs of the Customers Care & Solutions, Logistics, Exports and Sales leaders. Interface with external customers as necessary in virtual capacity as necessary to support the team and perform duties.

Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inventory, distribution, and replenishment of product groups so that all internal and external customers’ needs are met in a defined product category.  
  • Facilitate customer returns and authorizations. 
  • With leader support, aligns customer specifications/ validations and collaborates QA and Customer specifications review.  Drives organization alignment for exceptions / deviations to customer specifications. 
  • Communicates Customers Credit capacity.  Issues accurate and approved credit memos and rebates. Initiates credit and debit communication associated to the process. 
  • Supports sales forecasts with production capacity (adds and cuts) and rebalancing activity.  Acts on process for SFDC allocation and pricing. 
  • Supports team and acts as On-Boarding Liaison for new account and product processes under direction of leader, assures accurate initial and key process changes are entered / implemented and audited in systems. 
  • Delivers and prepares preliminary analysis for sales processes as well as routine and ad-hoc reporting to support commercial team. 
     

What You Will Need

  • High School Diploma and 7 years related experience, OR Associate's degree plus 3 years related experience, OR Bachelor's plus 1 year related experience.
  • Demonstrated reasoning, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing strong internal and external business relationships across departments, generally this experience is gained in a customer facing business to business role. 
  • Applies a customer centric and service-minded philosophy, able to interact with colleagues, creating consensus and clear strategy that drive alignment and results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
     

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 years related experience OR Master's degree
  • Demonstrated keen attention to detail and initiative 
  • Proficient with HANA, SFDC, Tableau and SAP
     

Physical Demands

The work is primarily performed in an office environment and the physical demands are characteristic of a mostly sedentary role.  Specific details of the essential functions of the position is available in the Job Safety Analysis, made available on request.
