Functional Analyst - SAP SD with WM

A Typical Day

The SAP SD with WM Functional Analyst is responsible for developing and implementing solutions, supporting production applications and the review and recommendation of new applications. This position will leverage SAP knowledge to support Sales and Distribution, Warehouse Management and outbound Logistics business processes. This is a hands-on role that will execute SD, WM/LE configuration, functional documentation; developing system requirements, business process design, all related testing, integration testing, system documentation and training including creating training materials and support procedures. 

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide business analysis and process redesign expertise in SAP SD, provide support for WM/LE area as and when needed
  • SAP configuration, implementation and support including Sales Order Processing, Pricing with CPE (Commodity Pricing Engine), Delivery and optimized Batch Search Strategy/ Picking, Inventory and Warehouse, Billing, Customer and Product Hierarchies (MM), Logistics Execution, Credit and Risk Management, Output Types configuration/ setup, EDI design and maintenance, Export Documentation and FI/CO postings.
  • Understand the integration points within ECC environment (PTF, SD, QM, WM, FI, S&OP, MM, and PTP) and with external systems.
  • Configure SAP functionality to satisfy business requirements and business process design.
  • Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms and workflows as they relate to the SD/WM components of SAP
  • Support peripheral systems and interfaces related to the Sales and Distribution and Warehouse Management function.
  • Design and execute test plans to ensure that business requirements and functional specifications are implemented properly and meet business objectives.
  • Develop business relationships to ensure successful implementation and support project efforts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with representatives throughout the company.
  • Participate in afterhours IS support rotation.
  • Resolve incidents across the SAP platform
  • Must have flexible after-hours availability for implementation and deployment tasks
  • Provide primary end user support and solutions for the SAP SD/WM module and user community. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of end user problems as well as performing routine system maintenance checks and corrective actions.

What You Will Need
  • English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or any related field and 5+ years of technology and functions used in IT.
  • 2+ years of warehouse or sales processes experience
  • Project management principles, methodology, and proficiency
  • Strong understanding of business system design in a manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately and quickly complete deliverables with efficient use of system resources
  • Technical ability to work within application framework to configure applications that meet the needs of the business
  • Strong commitment to customer service and support
What Will Put You Ahead
  • 6+ years of experience with SAP SD
  • Experience with SAP in a process manufacturing environment
  • Experience with Salesforce and integration of Salesforce with SAP
  • Experience with ABAP, JAVA or other programming languages
  • Experience with integration EDI, SAP APO, SAP S&OP
  • SAP Certifications in the related modules
  • PMP or other project management certification

  • Exposure to dust, fumes, smoke, gases, or other irritating substances.

  • Exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity depending on time of year.

Working surface is primarily concrete. Where standing is required, there are rubber mats which are one-half inch thick.
