A Typical Day

The Business Analyst – Manufacturing Processes is responsible for training and supporting the Manufacturing team on digital manufacturing applications.  This position will also be responsible to support other related initiatives related to inventory control, maintenance, and quality processes.  This position will collaborate with the site controlling teams to ensure accurate and timely digital manufacturing transactional data, adequate inventory levels and controls and proper maintenance procedures.  Within the project framework, they will participate in organizational change management activities.

Job Responsibilities

•Support the operations team on digital manufacturing application such as MES, SAP, etc. ensuring timely and accurate transactional postings in such applications. 
•Maintain digital manufacturing-based training documentation across the manufacturing organization.  Work with plant trainers in the scheduling and delivery of the training content.  
•Participate in the investigating and resolving system based problems, including root cause and corrective action identification.
•Participate in digital manufacturing projects with a focus on training and organization change management.
•Monitor process order transactions and communicate changes to BOMs as necessary.
 

What You Will Need

•High School Diploma and 4 years related experience, OR Associate's degree plus 2 years related experience, OR Bachelor's degree.
•Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary team
•Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills 
•Ability to understand and learn business processes, rules, and demonstrate business acumen

What Will Put You Ahead

•Experience with digital manufacturing applications, including but not limited to MES and SAP 
•Experience working in manufacturing environment
•Dairy industry experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment


The role has periods of time when the work environment is sedentary and conducted in an office environment balanced with frequent occasions that require prolonged walking or standing, lifting/ carrying/handling moderate weight objects on a regular basis.   Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations.
