A Typical Day
The Supply Chain Process Analyst is responsible for developing reporting, analysis capabilities, and actionable insights in regard to process performance that helps improve Supply Chain productivity through improved reliability and loss reduction.
Job Responsibilities
- Supports the Reliability and Loss productivity programs in developing reporting solutions and analytical insights that includes Asset and Process Performance such as Capacity, Reliability, and Process Losses.
- Provides reporting and actionable insight of the milk mass balance across each manufacturing site.
- Collaborates with a cross-function team to provide recommendations in the capability forecast of asset capacity, reliability, and mass balance to support the development and outcomes of Integrated Business Planning. This includes both analyzing demonstrated performance and a partnering with the Portfolios with integrating new capabilities into our forecast.
- Supports the Reliability and Maintenance team for providing recommended changes in planned maintenance strategies and insights to planned maintenance adherence.
- Coordinates with the Product Analyst for key analytic requirements in Reliability and Loss from the Cheese and Ingredient programs.
- Provides support to special projects that contributes to delivering and enhancing the capability of the Supply Chain analytics team.
What You Will Need
- High School Diploma and 7 years’ related experience, OR Associate's degree plus 3 years’ related experience, OR Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in data science, statistics, analytics, or programming.
- Experience working with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook – advanced level
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor's degree plus 1 year related experience OR Master’s degree.
- Demonstrated experience in advanced analytics or data science techniques.
- Proficiency with an advanced Statistical software package (JMP, Minitab, etc.)
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data management tools.
- Experience with programming or Excel Macros/VBA
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certification.
- Understanding of technical aspects of production operations, preferably in dairy manufacturing.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
The role has periods of time when the work environment is sedentary and conducted in an office environment balanced with frequent occasions that require prolonged walking or standing, lifting/ carrying/handling moderate weight objects on a regular basis. Is required to wear PPE and have a regular presence in manufacturing and warehouse environments in both temperature controlled and uncontrolled locations.
