A Typical Day
Coordinates production data processing, reporting, and administrative functions by reconciling daily data, preparing production analysis, and accounts payable invoice processing. Serves internal teams, producers, and vendors with accurate, timely information while supporting operational continuity.
Job Responsibilities
- Review and reconcile milk tag data for direct ship producers and outside suppliers, including daily analysis and balancing.
- Review and update milk component averages to support accurate processing and reporting.
- Prepare weekly production reports and analysis.
- Fulfill ad hoc data requests related to production history for producers, outside vendors, and the field team.
- Match invoices, including vendor, price, and quantity verification to approved purchase orders and receiving documents.
- Verify proper authorizations, signature limits, and supporting documentation.
- Process invoice data entry accurately and timely.
- Review and resolve invoice discrepancies; communicate with vendors and internal departments as needed.
- Research and reconcile vendor statements, inquiries, and requests.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical AP records in compliance with retention and audit standards.
- Ensure adherence to internal accounting controls, company policies, and audit requirements.
- Cross-train across additional department functions to support team coverage and operational continuity.
What You Will Need
- High School Diploma plus 5 years’ of related experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word
- Understanding of internal accounting controls.
What Will Put You Ahead
- High School Diploma plus 7 years’ related experience.
- Knowledge of dairy industry.
