Maintenance Materials Clerk (Night Shift)

A Typical Day
The Maintenance Materials Clerk is responsible for monitoring and maintaining min/max levels for maintenance parts inventory. Responsibilities will include, receiving materials, which include: verification of contents, counts, weights, or measures of incoming materials to information against packing lists and purchase order documents.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for examination of incoming shipments and rejection of damaged goods.
- Required to operate a forklift, or use hand truck to move incoming shipments from shipping and receiving dock to storage, or customer designated area.
- Responsible for allocation and distribution of parts, inventory items, and tools.
- Responsible for data input of all part inventory movements.
- Responsible for Identification tags and traceability of all outside inventory containers contents.
- Responsible for completion of cycle counts on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for the efficient and orderly operation of the stock room.
- Responsible for receiving and storing a wide variety of materials, supplies, parts, simple hand tools, etc.
- Responsible for selecting and properly identify suitable storage locations, such as shelves, bins, containers, and racks for all articles.
- Accurately fills orders to reservations in a timely manner.
- Active participation and ownership in your training and development program and associated activities, classes and events, which will be held before, during, after shifts and during scheduled days off.
- Assist in coaching and training teammates, and participate in on the job training.
- Place high priority on food safety and sanitation by understanding and executing HCC’s food safety and sanitation policies and procedures. This includes communicating any food safety incident, observation, or opportunity to your leadership team or teammates as well as participating in food safety and sanitation root cause analysis and improvement activities when required.
- Prioritize safety above all other job duties by having a safety first approach at all times. This includes reporting any safety issues, observations, opportunities to your teams and follow up.
What You Will Need
- English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends, holidays and over time as needed
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Software such as Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of warehouse management software
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs
What Will Put You Ahead
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution
- APICS accreditation or Parts Management experience
- SAP experience
- Forklift Experience
- Inventory control experience with MRO materials or related field
- Skilled as a Chemical Receiver or Central Receiving Clerk (Level 2 roles)
