A Typical Day
The Senior Analyst Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) will be working with the operations and business teams to work on key strategic projects and day to day support activities for the appropriate manufacturing applications. Additionally, the Senior Analyst MES will evaluate and design solutions to improve processes for their respective support areas. Additionally, the Senior Analyst MES is responsible for all facets of the project lifecycle as it pertains to approved projects focusing on delivering project on time and on budget.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of business cases for MES projects.
- Lead the deployment of innovative MES solutions for our customer base while capitalizing on opportunities for improvement.
- Provide ongoing continuous improvements consultation to business stakeholders and advisors
- Build test cases and execute against those test cases for the testing life cycle including Unit, Integration, and Regression Tests.
- Ensure that all applications deliver a consistent high level of quality, minimizing program bugs and inefficiencies.
- Coordinate efforts across all Information Services and Business teams and ensures full communication of project-related work to these teams.
- Provide day to day support of the MES solutions to all business stakeholders.
- Build internal knowledge database to improve service to our internal customers.
What You Will Need
- Bachelor’s in computer science or related field plus 5 years related experience OR Master’s degree plus 1 year related experience
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as GAMP V model, ANSI/ISA-95 and ANSI/ISA-88
- Experience running medium to large size projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary team
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and critical thinking skills and the ability to translate higher level knowledge to others
- Ability to effectively manages multiple priorities
- Ability to understand complex business processes, rules, and demonstrate business acumen, and is subject matter expert.
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s in computer science or related field plus 7 years related experience OR Master's degree plus 2 years related experience
- PMP Certification
- Dairy industry experience
Physical Demands & Work Environment
